How Reflection works
The Reflection plugin in your DAW sends what you play to the Reflection desktop app,
which broadcasts it over Wi-Fi to your phone or tablet.
1. Install Reflection on your computer
Download
Run the installer
The installer places the Reflection desktop app and the VST3/AU plugin in the correct locations.
Open the desktop app
Launch the Reflection desktop app. It runs in the background and bridges the plugin to your devices.
2. Add the plugin to your DAW
Open your DAW
Open Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Reaper, or any DAW that supports VST3 or AU plugins.
Add Reflection to a track
Insert Reflection as an instrument or effect plugin on any MIDI track.
Play
Play notes on your MIDI controller or piano. The plugin sends what you play to the desktop app.
3. View on your device
Same Wi-Fi network
Make sure your phone or tablet is on the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
Open the app
Open the Reflection app on iOS or Android. Once Reflection is licensed, it connects to the desktop app automatically over Wi-Fi.
See what you play
Chords, notes, and scales appear instantly as you play.
